Energy storage:
In a lot of countries there are no feed in tariffs (FIT) in operation, or the existing tariffs are lower than the average electricity prices. In such applications the photovoltaic systems are designed for own consumption of the produced electricity.
But often the consumption behaviour of the users does not fit to the daily production curve of the PV installation, neither in domestic area nor in commercial applications. This fact naturally leads us to the question about storage possibilities for the produced electricity.
